IN THE END, NATIONAL POETRY WRITING MONTH

in the end

It was truly a pleasure and also the end, of my month of poetry writing.  This month of April was a difficult month, I learned a lot, I push myself pass prior limits.  I am happy to complete 30 days of posts on my website today.  Not only did I post on this website for 3 days straight, I also posted on 4 other websites for 30 days as well for the month of April of 2015.  That brings my tally to 120 posts in a single month by myself.  I did post more than that in total, but it’s really take a toll on you being creative every day writing poetry, editing and posting photography, and writing articles of value.  But I have done this and more, and I am super proud of myself and I am excited to reach the next challenge in which is going to be in May.

Salute to everyone who writes everyday like myself and contributed to the National Poetry Writing Month…I succeed in 2013, failed in 2014, and became elite in 2015.  In the end it doesn’t matter, but it actually does, because a goal and an achievement was created.  See you next year…

Richardo A Wilson, The Graphic Designer

graphic-design

There is not much to say about my graphic design skills.  When I have vision for something, I go ahead and design & create it.  I got in design work coming from my skills in photography and my love for art.  Going out to art galleries in New York City has widen my eyes and I am grateful to be inspired by others.  Also in the field of website design in which I also do, I had to get more in tune with visuals and typography, therefore bringing me to design more.  I have done flyers, banners, websites, logos and album & book covers.

You can say I have a multitude of talent.  I am very hands on in what I do.  It goes to say that’s why a premier job opportunity for me would always be a creative director at a company.  Most preferably a company in entertainment, lifestyle, media or publishing.  But I do think my skills and ideas can go almost anywhere.

My design works can be found at www.raw-multimedia.com

Graphic design is the methodology of visual communication, and problem-solving through the use of type, space and image. The field is considered a subset of visual communication and communication design, but sometimes the term “graphic design” is used interchangeably with these due to overlapping skills involved.

Richardo A Wilson, The Composer

music lover

I may not be the greatest musician, but I am an awesome composer of music.  I love to arrange music as far as samples are concerning and recreate a sound into something interesting.  I have created a few songs in my lifetime, written and compositions.  I am proud to say I was able to do so being that music plays a big part in my life.  When it comes to composing music, I like to try styles not exactly popular but is more for the open-minded souls within jazz, poetry and easy listening.

A few music videos I directed can be found at www.youtube.com/rawmultimedia

A composer (Latin com+ponere, literally “one who puts together”) is a person who creates music. The core meaning of the term refers to individuals who have contributed to the tradition of Western classical music through creation of works expressed in written musical notation. In broader usage, “composer” can designate people who participate in other musical traditions, as well as those who create music by means other than written notation; for example, through improvisation, recording, and arrangement.

Richardo A Wilson, The Computer Technician

computer technician

I love technology.  I had a great curiosity to computers from a young age.  I remember going to neighbor’s house and was so hype to just turn on their windows 95 computer.  But my real love for computers and technology came when I was in 8th grade going into 9th grade in high school, and I told myself I wanted to be the best.  I wanted to be the smartest kid to use technology to do the craziest and coolest things.  I was guy that was the king of custom cdr’s, file formats, software programming and tutorials.  I was so ambitious to try every computer software I could get my hands on to see just what it can do, how it can help me or another and how I can use it to make money.  I think that was my breakdown on why I loved technology.  Everyone uses technology a certain way, and I wanted to be the person they would ask for help or how to do things on a computer.  You can call me the walking tech help desk.

I am not much of a computer hardware fan, I buy what I need and I get the results it produces.  I am not a software programmer, even though I am very much into coding when it comes to website designing, excel spreadsheets, and music & video coding.  I feel every technician has their favorite sweet spots and some just force themselves into unhappy areas just for the money.  I am completely happy with technology, and can talk and interact with it at any moment.

My phone is always being rang for my expertise on various forms of repairs or how to’s.  I didn’t want to be the greatest or the most popular guy with the knowledge I have and skills, I am more happy to know what I can potentially do and how it can help others achieve their goals through me.

There is so much I can say about computers, but I all I know is I love to make people happy with computers and comfortable using it.  I am every much knowledgable on all the best in the industry and all the trends.  I stay current with everything and create new projects each year using the new technologies that exist.

My computer skills can be seen on my LinkedIn profile at www.linkedin.com/in/richardoawilson

Richardo A Wilson, The Actor

johnny depp - actor

I am a big fan of actors and theater performers.  They are super awesome to me.  I have always wanted to act as a young boy in Jamaica.  I did most of my acting through comedic jibs with my family.  I was the most animated person in my family.  There was never a dull moment when I am around.  My creative vision to use relatable topics and words that hit with everyone was my gateway to their smiles.  Once I was able to purchase my own camera, I got into comedic and dramatic acting with my friends and started a YouTube channel to entertain my friends.  I have directed a few scenes and acted in a few comedy shorts with my friends on the spot and had to develop a talent for editing and producing to make that as entertaining in real life within the video.  I am more of an improv actor that anything else.  If you need a good comic relief in a series or show, please hit me up.  I am ready for the camera and have those funny bones shaking to their knees.

Lastly, I watch a lot of movies.  I am probably the biggest movie fan you will ever know.  I know a ton of actors, movies, tv shows can call win you millions in a “Who What To Be A Millionaire” MOVIES & ACTORS edition. 🙂

Most of my acting works can be seen at www.youtube.com/rawmultimedia
